The RP Tractor is designed to aid evasive maneuvers during battle. By locking onto a target with this weapon, it is possible to buffet the target around randomly, making computer target lock impossible with less sophisticated systems and manual aiming a horrendous task. It works on the same general principle as the normal tractor beam, but is supplemented with special programming for the desired effect.
