Hidden Weapon Charge

The Hidden Weapon Charge system is designed to mask the charging of weapons. It functions by allowing a buildup of power in the engine core, and then immediately transferring it in a burst to the weapons array through several conduits simultaneously. This has the effect of charging it almost instantly while making it look like an engine malfunction.

It is suggested that this be incorporated into a 7th Fleet scenario. The tactical officer on board the ship which this technology is used against should take little or no notice of it (ought to be an interesting twist in a mission). Whether Starfleet managed to re-create this technology aboard their own ships is at the discretion of the Admiralty, but I recommend against it.
