Quasar-Class Battleship

This stunning vessel borrows its general chasis type from the USS Pasteur in the Next Generation episode "All Good Things . . .". Combinging several experimental and cutting-edge technologies, this is certainly a factor to be reckoned with in any battle. Projections have shown that a single Quaser-Class battleship would be capable of destroying a Borg cube with no casualties.

Equipment on the Quasar-Class includes:

Exact Description:

The main body of the Quasar-Class battleship is spherical, with the ODS mounted at the very front. The rear of the sphere extends to form a roughly cylindrical protrustion, off of which three warp nacelles are evenly spaced (the third doesn't increase speed, its a backup). By using energy from both warp cores, the ship can reach a maximum speed of warp 9.9965 for a sustained 10 hours. The phaser arrays are rings around the front (just beyond ODS) and rear of the cylindrical section, which can be charged not only for overload with power from one warp core but both (shields have same attribute).

The launch bays are on opposite sides of the cylindrical section, near where it meets the sphere. Just above each is a quantum torpedo launcher, with the the other three and the AMT launcher being spaced quarterly around the very center of the sphere, with a ball-type socket which allows 180 degree firing arc in each dimension. The WCM is fired out the rear of the vessel, just below one of the shuttle bays.

The Anti-Proton beam was originally developed by the Dominion and is used to scan for cloaked vessels.
